Pick Six | Ali’s favorite: Hearts

If I could have six Valentine’s Day splurges, I would go for things that are cozy and sweet, and make you feel happy wherever you are and whoever you’re with. I love the contrast of a bright pink blazer and lacy dress, that pop of pink will instantly make you feel flirty and festive. Heart-shaped everything is a must; if it can be formed into a heart, well then February 14th is the day to do it. Heart-shaped waffles? Yes please! Heart-shaped mug of tea? Preferably while watching “When Harry Met Sally”, once of the best romantic comedies of all time. Vintage Valentines are adorable too, but most importantly, make sure to talk to someone you love!

Today, I bring you a few of my favorite things with a whole lot of heart. The heart-shaped gelato spoon is so bittersweet, I was obsessed with having sorbetto  everyday on my Italian honeymoon and I saw these sweet spoons in a window, in a narrow Venice alley and I regret not buying them, but I am glad that I found them online. The locket is divine it comes from Anthropolgie the best store on the planet, it reminds me of little orphan Annie’s locket. The little red hearts are from Anthro’s sister wedding store BHLDN, which is just pure eye candy for any bride. The Le Creuset cast iron heart dish would be such an ideal way to make your sweetheart a pot of something warm and tasty. How about the illustration, which is found on Etsy, I love supporting Etsy and anything to do with my beautiful state of California. The burlap pillow is from a handmade company called Love Leeve’s, and would add rustic elegance to any couch. Wishing you a lovely day and hope you have somebody in your life to call sweetheart.
