Last week, I shared with you an article about homemade cards and had planned to share ideas for fun gift wrapping. Then I literally tripped over an idea, a phone book to be exact. Monday evening I was walking up to my home and did a graceful stumble over the phone book that had just been delivered. For our household a phone book ends up taking up space in our office area and office closet, so I thought I would use a few sheets to cover gifts. I also used a few items recycled from the grocery store; a brown paper bag and the nets that produce (onions, oranges, grapefruits) are packaged in.
Wrapping a gift can be just as fun as shopping for a gift.
There are countless other items you can wrap your presents in. Look in your recycle bin, look outside and even in your closet too.
I love the look of children’s art on brown paper. Whether with crayons, markers or paint. Who could resist such a sweet gift?
