My husband Rick had the fantastic idea of going camping this last weekend. We love to camp, but with our hectic schedules there has been little opportunity to camp in over a year, so when I wanted to do a photo shoot (which will be posted next week) we decided to “bake two desserts in one oven” (my friendly way of saying kill two birds with one stone). The fresh air and slow pace was much needed for us both as we spent the day setting up vignettes, playing card games and taking an evening hike at sunset. Of course, I photographed a few photos of our camping moments.

A simple meal of grilled dogs with the classic condiments and conversations by the campfire. Perfect date.

And Camping would never be completed without s’mores.
