Ice cream makes everyone feel nostalgic and happy. It’s that treat you would beg your Mom to stop for while riding sideways in the back of the old Ford station wagon, your Grandpa and Grandma would take you to get a scoop and then talk about how in their day it was a nickel for ice cream, or that bowl (or bowls) you shared with your girlfriend while watching Tom Hanks movies.
Now truth be told I do not eat dairy (except for some cheese), but I love sorbet and can get away with eating rainbow sherbert, sometimes, but I still have such fond memories of the treat and can’t help but smile when I say the two words or see an ice cream on a sugar cone slightly melting down five sticky little fingers.
This month is National Ice Cream month and what better way to celebrate than to center a party around it.

In fact all this week I will be talking ice cream:
ice cream party essentials, D.I.Y project, and a delicious recipe.
