My husband and I share a long office desk and I admit I am a bit particular in keeping it tidy, but when life is chaotic I tend to shove things in the desk cabinets with no order or reason, just out of sight. However, at least once a month I do a major clean up. It gives me a chance to think of new projects, finish existing projects, recycle, and organize. Last week, I found shoved in a shoe mint box an array of fabric scraps.
I set them aside on my desk and finished cleaning up and when I did I thought of my clothing rack. My clothing rack serves as a place to display my nice dresses and blouses, belts and favorite shoes. It is my first step, to having my dream office/closet (aka boudoir). The type of room with a large pink chaise lounge, chandelier, vintage vanity, huge closet space for both wardrobe and work supplies.
Truth be told, my clothing hangs on plastic hangers and some of my silky frocks look slightly pitiful, so I decided to use those fabric straps and improve my plastic hangers. Just for now, until my dream girlie fantasy space, then I am waving farewell to plastic hangers..
