To all that say they are not that crafty, well even the crafty fail. We have a built-in closet that houses our printer and other office materials as well as a shelf of sad, half-crafted projects. Either I put the project down and never picked it up again or the project went all wrong and I had to take a pause from it.
These vintage {flea market find} pots were one of those projects.
I had planned to paint a cute, small frame on them with my chalkboard paint, but the paint did not adhere well. On Sunday, when I was cleaning, I came across an almost empty can of gold spray paint. I decided that I would salvage the pots and luckily had just enough paint to do them all.
I plated some succulents and now they are sitting pretty on our mantle. The gold paint brings out the warm pinks and oranges in the succulents, its glamour meets garden.
A former mess of a project now turned to gold.

Gold is the accent color in my room too, and I wish these were on my dresser–they are too adorable! What a great find!
