This is my favorite month of the year in California. I can feel the slight change in seasons. Emphasis on slight change. The breeze feels fresh and cool. June Gloom and July Gray are long in the past. The Channel Islands off the coast are clear. You can still spend the day in shorts and wear a sweater at night. I start to get excited for pumpkins, Thanksgiving, apple cider, and cozy flannel shirts.
I created a visual list of a few of my favorite things like vintage Frye boots, my leather Vaalbarra clutch, turquoise fetish necklaces (love), a lovely bird hat, loose dress and blouse, and moccasins.

Alyssa! I felt the same way and then finally two years ago purchased my first pair, this is how I did it. I went to Nordstrom’s tried on various pairs and sizes, found my favorite pair, color and had my right size. Then I just searched the internet for the best deals for the exact pair I wanted. I got super lucky and ended up finding my brand new pair on amazon outlet center (which I never knew existed) but sometimes you can find a gently worn pair on etsy or ebay. I am really glad I found them! The quality and fit is perfection. Happy Hunting!
