Valentine’s Day is this month and your lover, spouse, or crush are typically have a mind for candlelit dinners, love poems and chocolates but what about your BFF or favorite co-worker?

This is a simpler project. So simple there are no instructions other than these cliff notes versions of what I did.

1. Collected scraps of leather: Try a local leather-maker for scraps (inexpensive) or craft’s store.
2. Purchase acrylic paint or look in your stash for the right color(s).
3. Draw designs on back of leather, cut out shapes, paint shapes.
4. Glue shapes to a bobby pin or clip (hot glue or strong all-purpose glue)

Easy peazy!

You can also do the same technique for making a necklace, earrings, bookmark, etc…
