DIY | Vintage Jewelry Dish

Last week was a bit exhausting with two weddings, a few deadlines and lots of other work. Yesterday, I took the morning off to visit a few antique and thrift shops… instant stress release. I wanted to look for a pretty dish to keep my ring in. As my ring tends to just land on any surface in the house, I wanted to find a special dish, but then I saw this little cute, porcelain, red-headed drummer boy statue. He was so sweet and reminded me of a certain someone (Richard, my husband)

I wanted to give him a little home, so I decided that it would be a nice center piece for a dish, so I set a goal for making my jewelery dish for under 10 dollars. I found a mini ruffled white pie dish for 2 dollars, an egg cup for 3 dollars and the porcelain drummer was 4. I now have a one of a kind special dish for my rings and such.

To create: Simply gather your objects, wash and dry, use a strong glue such as this, glue together and although to dry for 24 hours before moving the piece.
