Is there anything better than a light flirty dress? I love dresses. I think it is because my Mom made play dresses for me as a kid, so running around on a farm I wore simple homemade dresses.

Today, however I ran errands looking like a before picture from an extreme makeover show. I’ve been sick for about two weeks with a bad cold (cough cough) that has kept me up at night (under eye baggage).I am a bit overworked and it is showing on my face. I chose to wear my yoga pants that ended up having paint stains on the rear end (Note to self buy a full length mirror) and was sporting a hair-do of overgrown bangs and hair tangled up in a messy bun.

I texted my husband, and my sweet man said I need a girlie day (translation= happy hour, shopping, massage, beach day), but because my next few days are busy I made a detour to the beauty store to get a yummy conditioner (side note: the store was playing Christmas music) a small pick-me up and I am super excited to shower tonight.

Instead of sporting my hot mess look I would rather be wearing this summery wardrobe.
