D.I.Y | Kitchen : Painted Wooden Spoons

These spoons were made for walking!

I am enjoying the fashion craze of brightly colored pants. I have long been a fan of colored pants. The boldness of a vibrant color paired with a neutral tan or white is smart and chic, and says “I’m not afraid of standing out in a crowd”. Why not express fashion style in the kitchen? Even your kitchen utensils want a bright, spring moment. Thus, I set out shopping and found a set of 8 wooden spoons (for under 5 dollars) to create with. I used a few of my favorite colors and recharged myself with an hour of painting and a rainy day movie.

I was tickled pink of how pretty these spoons came out. I am actually planning on making a couple more sets for gifts. Easy, inexpensive, and fun! Now, ready spoons? Start walking!
